You can either drag and drop the file or click on "Browse files" to select your file.

Step 3: You may adjust any settings, such as "Audio Language" or "Recognize Speakers".

You should set the "Audio Language" to the language spoken in the audio or video file. If it is in English, please select "English." If it is in French, please select "French."

Step 4: Click the "Transcribe" button.

Click the "Transcribe" button, We'll start transcribing your file right.

After transcription is completed, click your file to open the Transcription file.

VidText provides two methods for translating transcription files:

1. For example, if your audio is in English and you want to translate it into French or another language: Set the "Audio Language" to English, then click "Transcribe."

After your file has been transcribed, open the transcription file and click "Translate." You can use this feature to translate the transcribed file into French or any other language you prefer.

2. If you have non-English audio that you want to translate into English:: Set the "Audio Language" to the language used in the audio. Then enable "Transcribe to English" and click "Transcribe." This will generate an English file directly, without any intermediate translation steps.

How do I add subtitles or captions to my video?

After uploading and transcribing the file, open the transcript and click "Download SRT." This will download an SRT subtitle file, which can generally be imported into most video players and video editing software.
